- I've started using AMosaic 2.0 release 3 (AmiTCP version) a lot
- since installing MUI 3.2, as it doesn't seem to crash every 5 minutes
- any more. So, I was happily adding sites to my hotlist and decided to
- take a quick break and close AMosaic. When I started it up again, I
- noticed that I lost at least half of my hotlist. What just happened?
- Everything was perfect before I quit AMosaic, and yet when I restart
- it I find that I lost the last half of my list. There were no errors,
- and nothing crashed. I didn't rename a group (already was bitten by
- that bug a while ago - in case you don't know, do not under any
- circumstances rename a group inside of AMosaic, as it will conveniently
- delete everything under it without warning.) Best of all, it managed
- to update the hotlists in both env: and envarc:, so now I'm totally screwed.
-
- Has anybody written a program that archives your Mosaic hotlist
- so you're protected from it's severely buggy hotlist code? What secret
- rule did I violate this time? Last time I innocently tried to use the
- EDIT button to rename a group. Is there some limit to the number of hot-
- list entries or something?
